RI Travel - The Andrea Misquamicut Beach, Rhode Island

Updated: Jun 18

My man Thomas Lavoie surprised me with a random date night at The Andrea Misquamicut Beach, Rhode Island! One of our favorite summertime destinations, the place was hopping when we got there with a band, beach party that Gidget would approve of, and a 40 minute wait that we spent on an adirondack bench with a pitcher of spiked punch and the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Our dinner was a classic order (not sure if we've ever strayed from it) an andrea house salad, fried calmari, and the best mussels ever - simmered in garlic, butter, and magic. TJ and I are team sharing is caring when we dine out, and have found that some of the best food lives in the appetizer section of a menu. The hazy orange sun turned into an eerie orange moon, an effect caused by the wild fires in the west. We visited Misquamicut Beach years before ever checking out The Andrea. If you haven't yet, put it on your to-do list! Our first visit of 2021 was a great success.
